The Polarizer

The Polarizer, born Abbot Keller, was an electrician at a nuclear power plant during the 1950's. After a freak accident during an electrical storm, he discovered he had the power to control electrical current.

A greedy, twisted man, Keller styled himself "The Polarizer", crafted a costume, and turned to a life of crime. After several successful heists, he was shot dead by police during a botched bank robbery.

Years later, an electrical engineer, Maxwell Dillon, would find himself imbued with the same powers that Keller had. He would model his criminal persona after his predecessor, The Polarizer.
