Mephistopheles offers him a deal of releasing him from Hell, if he brings him Johnny Blaze.

Spider-Man vs. Ghost RiderEdit

Ghost Rider rides into New York and sees a bank robbery in progress. He goes and stops the thieves. Spider-Man was swinging by and sees Ghost Rider. Hearing about his dangerousness Spider-Man attacks Ghost Rider, and they fight. Their fight last a while, though Ghost Rider eventually brings Spider-Man down. Ghost Rider is about to finish him off when he senses that Spider-Man is a good person and decides to let him live. Ghost Rider exits the bank and gets on the Hell Cycle. Spider-Man gets up and sees Ghost Rider begin to drive away. Spider-Man swings into the street and begins to chase Ghost Rider through the streets of New York.

There is an extremely long chase. Ghost Rider tries to shoot him down wit fireballs, but Spider-Man is too agile. While on the washington bridge Ghost Rider finally hits him and he falls into the water below. Ghost Rider rides out of sight, and Spider-Man can't find him when he gets out of the water.

Rise of the DemogoblinEdit

Norman breaks out of his grave fully restored. "This is amazing," he says.

Norman returns to his manor and is welcomed by Bernard who is completely surprised to see him alive. When Bernard asks Norman about his return to life Norman says that he doesn't know, not wanting to reveal his deal with the devil. Bernard tells Norman about Harry's death and he becomes enraged.

Bernard takes Norman to Harry's grave and Norman let's out a powerful burst of fire destroying many plants, and putting Bernard into critical condition. Norman runs away in shock back to his mansion. Eventually people spot Bernard and he is brought to the hospital.

Norman finds his old goblin arsenal and begins to remember his time as the Green Goblin. Through instinct he suddenly engulfs his old glider in flame, turning it into a demonic form. He then does the same to the rest of his weapons. Mepistopheles suddenly appears and reminds him of his mission. When Mephistopheles leaves he sees that he can turn himself into a Ghost Rider form.

Mary Jane WatsonEdit

Peter and Mary Jane have renewed their relationship since the events of Spider-Man 3. She is watching the news when Hal Fishman suddenly gives a story about Spider-Man fighting the Ghost Rider. "Oh my god," Mary Jane says. She then picks up her phone and calls Peter's house and gets the answering machine. MJ leaves Peter a message saying that she just learned about his fight and that he should call her back.
